Hi Temp Plus (A3 Laserjet)

 Hi Temp Plus® paper is for the new general of colour laser copiers and printers. It has been redesigned for use with all Xerox® EA toner copiers and printers, and a variety of other colour laser copiers and printers. It transfers with less heating time onto most white or light-coloured fabrics, and washes extremely well with a stretchable and breathable soft-hand feel.

HOW TO USE HI TEMP PLUS A3 PAPER
 

PRINTING:

• Use the multi-function tray (if applicable)
• Air all sheets on both edges to make sure they are loose
• Do not stack more than 30 sheets at a time
• Set paper type. See list below and try a variation until you get good results with your model of printer
• or copier. If you don’t see your brand of printer or copier please try one of the suggestions available.
• Here are some suggestions:

1. HP : Transparency or Label Mode
2. Ricoh : Thick 2 Mode
3. Brother : Transparency Mode
4. Okidata : Label 1 or Label 2 Mode
5. Xerox : Transfer or Coated 1 Mode
6. Canon : Label or Heavy Paper 2 Mode (ensure to use Tray A/ Top Tray as output tray.)  

• Use mirror image setting so image will read correctly after application.
• Open the feed option from the back of the printer for straight feed through the printer (if applicable, except for Canon Copiers - Use the top tray or Tray A.)

 

PRESSING:

Note: A conventional home iron will not provide a satisfactory image transfer

• Set temperature to 165 c.
• Set at medium pressure (approx. 40psi)
• Do not pre-press the fabric. Fabric must be cool.
• Position transfer paper on fabric, image facing down and press for 20 seconds.
• Wait 8 Seconds then peel off transfer sheet (while still hot.)
• Place a Teflon sheet over the image and press again for 5 seconds.
• Sheet can be removed hot of cold.

 

WASHING AND DRYING

• Turn garments inside out. Machine wash in warm or cold water.
• Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
• Tumble dry on low setting.
• Do not use iron on imaged area.
• Do not dry clean.

IMPORTANT: Please keep your Hi Temp Plus paper in a plastic bag until actual use.
This will prevent moisture from forming. Close the bag after each use.
